My dad got approved for disability today! They deposited backpay from the time they declared him disabled until now, which was November 2010. And starting next month my parents should be getting monthly checks.

I can’t even explain how happy this makes me. It means they no longer have to worry about the house payment since neither of them has been able to find work. And hopefully it means my dad will be able to continue to go to the doctor and get the medical care he needs.
