I'm Jen. I'm a lesbian and a picky eater. I play bass and I love peanut butter. Music is my life and I will introduce you to every band you haven't heard of. I have an AMAZING girlfriend...she consumes my every thought. I've been told I'm sweet, caring and kind, but will only be that way if I think you deserve it. I am not a liar, I say what's on my mind and am honest about my feelings. I will answer anything and everything asked. I'm addicted to tumblr. Please enjoy your stay.

Now we just need Gregoire’s signature, and we’ve got gay marriage in Washington. Holy Shit. Never thought I’d see the day.

I’m really excited about Washington state possibly passing the gay marriage law.

But, it also sucks for me. Because once upon a time, I got a domestic partnership with one of my exes. We couldn’t afford the $50 dissolution fee, so we just kept the partnership. And then R-71 passed, and turned our partnership into “everything but marriage”. At this point, we were no longer together. And this also means that in order to dissolve our partnership, we have to get a regular divorce.

So I just looked up all the paperwork and shit to serve her with papers (we’re still friends, but she’s not taking any steps to get this taken care of). There is so much to do. Holy shit. I am not looking forward to this at all. Especially the up to $250 in court fees plus copying fees.

But, it needs to be done, so I’m looking into it. Luckily I have a few lawyer friends that will probably help me out pro-bono.

Annnnnnnd that’s all I’ve got for now because my back hurts!
